Today Steve Jobs passed away and though he was, by no stretch of the imagination, a fashion icon, Steve Jobs’ singular, most memorable and iconic visual image is of him in his signature black turtleneck.  Clean lines, easy elegance, classic but always modern, the black turtleneck symbolizes much of what we appreciate most about Steve Jobs’ amazing, revolutionary contributions to design, technology, animation and society in general–a sharp, singular vision that was understandable to anyone and that worked for everyone.
