The Fashion Life

Whimsical, trivial, fickle, fleeting…fashion is seen by most pragmatists as an ‘unimportant’ part of life, unnecessary to the business of living. But fashion, and the need to dream and express oneself, has survived through the centuries–through famines and wars and economic meltdowns–and remains glamorously entrenched & fabulously turned-out in our present times. From the etheric realms of the imagination to the grounded pavements of the street, fashion will continue to do the job of tickling our collective fancies and reminding us about the importance of expressing our desires and living our dreams.

Cheers to the mode la vie! ;-)

Oh my those shoes!! Better than anti-depressants and with less side-effects I suspect ;) I agree…what is fashion but a means to express ourselves is such a wonderful way, without getting on a soapbox or standing on a pulpit? Certainly the more positive option I think!

Fashion as anti-depressant, I love it! So true though–we all need our fashion-fix one way or the other, whether creating it, appreciating it, or wearing it–which is probably the biggest reason I became a designer in the first place :-)
