After having been sick the past few days, sleeping in most of the day and not having any coffee (!!!), I was thrilled to get out of my pajamas, and thought wearing a pretty accessory (and a bright color) would be the perfect pick-me-upper. Most of us have antique pendants or religious medallions from our parents or grandparents–one of my personal favorites is this gold art nouveau pendant from my lola that was on a long gold chain. For a different look, I replaced the long chain and slipped in my oh-so-versatile black satin ribbon (see the Fashion Tips instant peplum and ribbon-tied shirt)…instant ribbon necklace!
You can wear this ribbon necklace long or short, or replace the pendant with a bunch of charms đ How would you wear a ribbon necklace?

Definitely…im wearing one today.the satin ribbon is from my white tuxedo-like button-down white shirt and i used my topaz brooch that doubles as a pendant.so european.
