“The Three Point Entrance” exhibit, Denis Lagdameo
While dropping by Salcedo Park yesterday and looking for a bite to eat, Ito and I happened to pass by the Picasso Boutique serviced residences and saw that my college mate, Denis Lagdameo, was having a solo exhibit at the 4th floor gallery & public areas of the hotel. Esoteric in nature, Denis’ installations & multi-media pieces reminded me of Aztec art with a generous helping of contemporary urban culture–almost like post-industrial artifacts that linked our past/present/spiritual/physical/higher/lower selves. I love art that simultaneously makes me think AND inspires me to design clothes! 😉 Check out the exhibit which runs until next Friday, February 10th.
