In recent months fashion has been doing it’s regular pilgrimage and revisiting the wild-child, disco era seventies.  From lounge-y jumpsuits to sparkly mini dresses, wildly printed maxi dresses to big hair & floppy hats, we’ve all succumbed to disco fever.  With its penchant for flamboyant (& flammable) fabrics, the seventies were a glamorous, indulgent, decadent era–or so I wildly imagine, since it was the year I was born.  Pre-clubbing days, parties & discos used to be where everything happened and where everyone was at.  The Factory, Studio 54, and locally, Cocobanana had everyone boogieing and shimmying the night away in fashions that rivaled the all-out glitter of a disco ball.  Fabulous, crazy, exuberant, sexy–who wouldn’t want to revisit the seventies again & again?
