Tippi Ocampo, designer, artist, writer, intrepid wanderer

Born in the 70’s.  Influenced by the 80’s.  Matured and married in the 90’s.

Studied in Colegio San Agustin from pre-school to high school.  Graduated cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from the state university.  Joined advertising after graduation as art director, writer, then creative director.

Won various awards for her work in advertising, then did the same in fashion.  Participated in the Concours Internationale des Jeunes Createurs de Mode in Paris in December 1999.  Was inducted into the Fashion Design Council of the Philippines in 2000.

Launched her fashion book & exhibit “Not By the Book: Fashioning Design” along with her fashion design blog & website in 2008. Creates capsule collections of “MTO” (Made by Tippi Ocampo) resort wear and modern Filipiniana. Custom-designs beautifully unique formal wear and bridal gowns under her own name.

Interests lie in fashion, art, travel, books, music and cinema.  Loves quirky and humorous designs, as well as quirky and humorous people.
