To celebrate my turning a year older last October, Manila Bulletin threw a belated celebration over the holidays at the al fresco dining area of Conways in Shangri-La, Makati.  It was fun catching up with some of my good friends & travel buddies and we had a great night sharing our most recent trips & (mis)adventures with each other.  From bottles of wine, to champagne cocktails, to double shots of Johnny Blue, our glasses were never empty & our stomachs were stuffed with delicious hors d’oeuvres courtesy of Conway’s chef–my favorites were the fresh salmon carpaccio, the chili frogs’ legs, & the Italian-style pizza.  Thank you, Manila Bulletin, for a lovely night I won’t soon forget! 🙂

The cool, holiday air was perfect with the lounge-y, al fresco, dining area of Conways in Shangri-La Makati

Ito & me.  I’m wearing a silk jusi shift dress I designed with silver woven details.

Cheers to good friends & travel buddies!  Here’s to more adventures to come 🙂

My birthday wish is…secret!  Can’t say or it won’t come true 😉 But more celebrations like this would be fun!
