On most Fridays, Ito and I meet friends for dinner and late-night drinks or maybe we wind down with family and catch a movie.  But last night there was heavy rain, heavy traffic AND it was a payday, so we skipped heading out after work and decided to just stay home and relax.  And wouldn’t you know it, it turned out to be a really good thing because we had a surprise delivery last night!  A 32″ Samsung LCD Series 4 HDMI TV (Hi-definition multi-media interface–I’m still reading up on what that means exactly)  As you can imagine, Ito wasted no time in setting it up and tinkering with it (endless wires be damned!), so our relaxing Friday evening turned into setting-up-the-TV-and-channel-surfing-all-night-long.  The Samsung LCD TV’s design is very sleek and I love how saturated the image colors are, plus there’s a connect/share port so we can use it for viewing Ito’s pics.  Yay!

The perfect thing about it is that since we’re fixing up our house, we can turn our spare room into a guest room/TV room.  I’m already planning to look around for an antique silver frame to put the TV in if we mount it on the wall.  (Can’t wait to watch “Game of Thrones” all over again, LOL!)

A few months ago, I was invited to be one of Samsung’s brand ambassadors for its new Galaxy Tab 10.1.  Along with a few other ‘personalities’ and friends from different fields like Gang Badoy, Liza Ilarde, Carlos Celdran, Yael Yuzon, Laureen Uy, Ivan Acuña, Dustin Andaya, Aids Tecson, Jowie Alviar & Mon Punzalan, Jaymie Pizarro and Rosan Cruz, we all met over lunch in Cantinetta for the launch of the 3G version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab.

In a lucky twist of fate, during a Samsung Galaxy Evolution dinner that we attended, Ito also won a new Samsung Galaxy SII! (I understand there’s been some delays in shipment, but we can’t wait to get our hands on the unit…I know it’s Ito’s, but what’s his is mine, right? ;))

For someone who’s a self-confessed NON-techie, these are definitely a whole lot of gadgets to play with.  Thank you, Samsung! 🙂
