While dressing up this morning, I thought of turning my basic, slightly masculine shirt into something more feminine. Instead of a belt, I used a 1 1/4″ thick, black, satin ribbon tied in a bow at my waist. Voila! An instant ‘peplum’ to wear everyday. Try it over a loose T, a chiffon tunic, or any simple, flowy top that you own. Cheap, easy and super quick 😉
PS- I love black satin ribbon and always have a roll (or two) of it on hand. I use it for tying around gifts and as a curtain tie-back as well! And, of course, it makes for an easy and chic fashion accessory 🙂
