We had the first Fashion & Design Council of the Philippines (FDCP) dinner for 2012 last Monday night, and it was nice catching up with colleagues and talking shop over delicious food. We discussed a few plans for the upcoming year as well as reviewed the great success of the last FDCP project,”Weaving the Future” (read about it here “Fashionable and Sustainable”), but more than that, it was a coming together of fashion designers who are looking forward to even greater things for the entire Philippine fashion industry as a whole. If we don’t all work together to uplift our own industry, then who will, right?
*I forgot to bring a camera, but thanks to (FDCP President) JC Buendia, Frederick Peralta, and our ever-efficient, ever-cheerful sexy-tary, Sandy Bediones, there were a few photos that I was able to grab from Facebook 🙂

Funny frogs watching us with curiosity from the corner of Mangetsu, LOL!
Looking forward to an even more exciting, more vibrant, and more visionary 2012 for the Fashion & Design Council of the Philippines!
